Wow! Climbing Mt. Fuji in the moonlight, I am in awe. I love your choices each week in this challenge. Your photos always inspire me in some way. Nice job.

Thank you! But I must confess it wasn’t like I was lugging along any anchors or carabiners. After eons of trekking to the top, there was a hiking trail for much of the climb with “stations” along the way where they branded our walking sticks with the station we achieved and near the top much appreciated hot coffee (or tea). (I even got a “medal” which I still have!) Also appreciate your kind words re my photos. I love taking pictures and now with digital can take a LOT.

I climbed to the top of Diamond Head in Hawaii and thought I was going to die, I can’t imagine climbing Mt. Fuji. I would keep that medal for sure.

HA! At 12,388 ‘, it is about 1500’ lower than Mt Shasta in California. A storm was coming in and let me just say, didn’t take us long to get off the mountain as it did going up!

It was exciting, until we neared the top where there were glaciers (COLD!). When we got to the base, we were jazzed, it was a full moon, decided to just go for it.

I really like the Halloween quilt, and that old car out in the field!
Awesome y’all climbed Mt. Fuji! We never tried that, but we could see it in the distance from our house. 🙂

Oh, you could see it! It so dominated the landscape. When we arrived, were told the proverb, “He who climbs Mt Fuji once is a wise man, he who climbs twice is a fool.” Decided we’d have to climb it, but of course climbing at night we didn’t get a lot of pics on the way up!

Amazing pictures!! I love the road runner. I always forget how small they actually are! 🤣

Yeah, barely bigger than a decent sized crow. This one was very intent on his target.
